You don't just multiply it by two... it depends on how far the mass is from the centre of rotation. The so 1 kg of extra mass on your tires is much "heavier" than 1 kg of extra mass on your disc rotor bolts.

haha yea it does. weird. So, I'm building a new trail bike. I bought a RS Pike for my stinky and got some parts for it. Hopefully it will weigh like 34 lbs. and it should be the perfect bike for marin.
